What comes in a subscription box?

 All My Sensory Journey Subscription boxes are put together with children’s age and stage of development in mind. Looking at all areas of development using fun, exciting and stimulating resources and toys that all the family can enjoy. The boxes contain great quality sensory resources and toys to explore with babies providing a simple and effective way to stimulate brain development. You will receive 6 items per box;  Resources may not be the same to the pictures due to stock demand and we are always researching and developing our ideas but they will always reach the same learning objectives. Parents/carers are able to access ideas on how to use the resources to stimulate and support the child’s development through a downloadable sensory play guide for each box subscribed.

How does My Sensory Journey Subscription work?

Customers can sign up to My Sensory Journey Subscription for up to a year. You will pay for your first box then receive a box every 3 months, payment being taken from your card beforehand unless you pay upfront for the full subscription. How many boxes delivered to your door will depend on which box is purchased first. You will receive 4 boxes in total if the first box purchased is the 0-3 month box. If you do not want to do the full year you can start the subscription at 3-6 or 6-9 months, your last box will be the 9-12months box. Your subscription will end once the 9-12 month box has been delivered. You can cancel your subscription at any time. 

I have just ordered a subscription box, how long will it take to be shipped out?

My Sensory Journey Subscription boxes will be created and shipped out within 14 days of your order being made then every three months after that until the subscription has ended or you cancel it.  14 days is applied with the first box ordered due to stock control but it is likely it will be within the first 7 days. The following boxes will be sent out 2-4 working days after the subscription payment is taken - Please see our shipping policy for more information. 

Sensory Surprise Boxes, Build a Birthday Box - My First Birthday, Build a Sensory Box, Build a New-born or Baby Shower Box & products from the toy shop are sent out within 2-4 working days. 

Can I change the date for my subscription boxes to be sent?

Yes. Please just send us an email at info@sensoryboxsurprise.co.uk. Please include your subscription number, full name & address, along with the date you wish your next box to be sent out. We will then adjust the following delivery dates accordingly (3 months after the date you provide unless you state otherwise). You can also log into your account and change the dates yourself. 

I have paid for gift wrap for a box from My Sensory Journey Subscription package, will the other boxes sent later be gift wrapped?

No. If you paid for gift wrap, this will only apply to the first box. If you wish for all the boxes (amount will depend which age box you started the subscription) then please email us and we can organise for all the boxes to be wrapped and take payment. 

I have received an email to say my next subscription box has been sent out but the email states the age of the first box ordered. Why?

Do not worry you will have been sent the correct box out. Seal subscription repeat the same box description in the email that you purchased first. We are trying to resolve this. If you are concerned please do not hesitate to email us. 

Where do I find the downloadable QR code for the sensory play guide in the Sensory Journey Subscription boxes?

The downloadable QR code is located on the Sensory Box Surprise card that comes inside the sensory box.

How do I assess the Sensory Play Guide with the downloadable QR code?

You simply use your phone to take a picture of the code. When you open your camera it will pick up the code and you press the words that appear to be taken to the play guide. If you have any problems please do not hesitate to email us or chat to us through our online chat. 

How do I purchase the full subscription on the website?

To purchase the full subscription you need to click on My Sensory Journey Subscription. Click my first year subscription in the purchase section, then click on the arrow for 4/ payments every 3 months and choose that option or full pay upfront. Once you have selected one of the two options you can add the package to your cart and click checkout. Any problems please do not hesitate to email or or chat on our online system. 

We have moved house/ I have new bank details how do I change my details so I can still receive the subscription package?

You can log into your account to change these details at anytime. If you have any issues updating your address or changing your bank details, please email us at info@sensoryboxsurprise.co.uk. If a box has already been sent out to the wrong address and been sent back to us then we will contact you to pay for any delivery costs to get the box delivered to the new address provided. We will only be able to do this once we receive the original parcel that had been shipped to the wrong address. If we do not receive the parcel back then you will need to pay for another box to be sent to the correct address.

Can I cancel my Subscription?

Yes you can cancel your subscription at any time by logging in to your account to cancel or by emailing us at info@sensoryboxsurprise.co.uk to confirm your subscription has been cancelled we will email you confirmation. Please ensure to cancel your subscription before a payment is taken. If the payment is taken then you will need to return the box for a refund. See our refund policy. Can I buy My Sensory subscription boxes individually as a one-time payment?

Yes, you can buy any of My Sensory Journey Subscription boxes individually for a special occasion such as a Christmas present, Easter present, a baby shower gift or new-born present or just because you want to treat that someone special. The box will also come with the downloadable sensory play guide.To do this select one-time purchase. You will only receive one box. Your email purchase confirmation will state the age of the box you have ordered and say however many boxes in total, every three months due to the title of the boxes in the subscription section but you will only receive one box as it is a one-time individual purchase instead of signing up to the subscription. When will I get a refund for a purchase I have sent back? 

Once we receive the returned item (in the same condition and original packaging) and it is approved we will email confirmation. See our refund policy for more details.

Why does My Sensory Journey Subscription shipping email state the wrong box?

If you started with the 0-3 month box as part of the subscription journey, you will receive all shipping emails stating the 0-3 month box has been sent out for all your following boxes as this was your starter box. Please be assured that the correct box (your next box) will have been sent. 

How do I build a gift box 12 months plus? 

There are 4 sections to select at least one product. In each section you choose one or more products to add to your bundle. To do this simply click 'add to bundle'. Once you have selected all choices you can add the bundle to the cart. If you have selected a hand written gift card, it will ask you to write a personal message. Please ensure the spelling is correct as we will copy the exact message sent to us. If you choose to purchase a card but wish to write your own message, please state 'Leave blank' in the gift note section when it appears on the screen. Once you have built your box, the goodies will be wrapped in tissue paper, packed into the box and sent out to the delivery address. Postage fee will be added at the checkout. They will be sent out within 2-4 working days. 

How do I build a baby shower or new-born gift box?

There are 5 sections to select at least one product. In each section you choose one or more products to add to your bundle. To do this simply click 'add to bundle'. Once you have selected all the choices you can add the bundle to the cart. Can I add toys into a box that is not in the build a box categories? 

Yes. If we can fit them in the box, this is no problem at all. Just send us a note at checkout and we will organise this for you if it is possible. You can also email us but we cannot guarantee to read the email before your purchase is sent out.
